I think you'd better talk about your activities in the interview rather than type them in a paper. You need to impress your interviewer in the talk. If you give your interviewer your activity list, what will you say in the talk?

Anyway, you should try to be unique and show your love for Brown in the interview. Good luck.

I had a research paper with me that I wrote (a big one, too, 40 pages) and while I mentioned it and kinda held it up for a second, my interviewer just kept asking other questions. My achievements, especially on paper, just were not the focus of my interview. This is great because I felt like so much less of a resume-toting fool when we talked instead about how we both played guitar and why it's better to move away for college.

I had my interview today and it went amazing. It was just a convo. Its more about making sure you know brown than actually trying to grill you. We had a great 1 hour and 15 min convo. It was a lot of fun and informative.

I haven't gotten an email nor been contacted by an alumni for an interview...I live in Indiana....what should I do? I kind of want one but what would be the point with bothering the admissions offices about it?

Then again, I do go to boarding school so I could have not been informed of a phone call by my mother.

My interviewer went to the same elementary, middle, and high school as I did. I reallly hope I end up at Brown like she did :P

The interview was great and a lot more informative than evaluative. I forgot to mention a lot of things I wanted to but it's because we were sidetracked a lot and talked about Brown's greatness :P

I don't think so! I had my interview a couple of days ago, and my interviewer said their letters had to be in by Dec. 1, so you still have a little while if you move fast!

My advice is basically like everyone else's, just relax and be genuine! Show what makes you unique and try not to be too nervous, it was very low-key and we had some interesting conversations. Good luck!

i called the admissions office and the lady gave me the email of the alumni in charge of interviews in ym country. She told me we have only one more week and to hurry otherwise we'll lose our opening.

Yeah, if you guys want interviews and haven't had one yet, you really have to HURRY. Cause my interviewer said that all interview reviews have to be in by DEC. 1st...
