<p>On common app, Brown makes you specify two intended majors of your choice. If one gets rejected from Engineering, can he or she still get accepted to Brown?
My first choice is Biomedical Engineering and my second choice is just Biochemistry which didn’t require an essay.

<p>Brown admits students to the university, not into a concentration or department. The engineering/STEM essays are really just to get a better idea of your interest, though this isn’t to say that they aren’t important.</p>
