Anything different about them as compared to other schools? Anything I should expect other than the why brown kind of questions

they don't have anything from your application except you're name and contact information, so they will ask what you do in your free time, what you do after school, etc. Also know why you want to go to Brown. Have good reasons, not some statistic you picked up from the website.

The lady who interviewed me also asked me several times if I had any questions for them, because the purpose of the interview is to inform the student as well as to inform the interviewer, from what I hear. I asked about Providence in general, as I wasn't sure how it really was for students. Come with some good questions that you genuinely want to ask.

For me it was also in a pretty laid back environment, so I wasn't under any particular pressure. That just depends on where your interview is though, I guess.

the brown adcoms like to admit people who are "burning for brown." if they feel you have excellent reasons for loving brown, they will be more likely to accept you.

so the "why brown" question is really big. (maybe i'm biased because of my own experiences: the only question my interviewer asked me was "why brown." it was kind of freaky.)

just be sincere, and you'll be fine. =)
