APs: calc ab, euro, physics b and c mechanics, psych, us history all 5s
Gpa: 103.44
Class rank: 3/150ish
Sports: 4 years of cross country and tennis, 1 year bowling
Music: 7 years of trumpet, 1 year section leader, 1 year drum major, 2 years district band. 3 years choir. Some leadership and ability awards in both
Student govt: freshman class treasurer, junior and senior class vp
Awards: economics challenge state champions, 4th in nation, nmsqt finalist, school science and leadership awards
Community service: backpacking trips to raise money for inner city schools, phone banking for elections, relay for life</p>

<p>Also taken 3 courses at a local university, calc 2, intro to physics, and a physics lab. Ap physics c and aP psych were taken as self study independent studies. I'm planning on asking the two teachers who mentored me for letters of recommendation as well as my guidance counsellor who is my xc coach.</p>

<p>Both are reaches…nothing special about your ECs and your SAT and GPA is in the middle range for those schools.</p>

<p>Your stats are pretty average for these schools from what i’ve been reading on the forums. Like sameer said your ecs are not very special. However, ivys are usually always reaches so keep that in mind :P</p>

<p>gpa and rank are excellent… ecs and scores arent bad. i’d say just apply, you never know.</p>
