<p>So I was looking at the Brown Student Advantage Card…it looks pretty sweet, especially because of the Amtrak discount. Does any Brown student here on CC have one? If so, do you find it useful? A waste of money?</p>
<p>At least for me, it was incredibly worth it for the Amtrak discount alone. It paid for itself many times over (with the four-year deal).</p>
<p>I even re-upped my membership for law school!</p>
<p>I feel like discussion last summer came back with mixed results…if you’re going to use the train, it’s worth it, but I’ve never found any need for one personally. So I’d look into it and see if the discounts would be enough to cover the cost of getting it for you in particular.</p>
<p>Pretty much just use it for Amtrak and not that often.</p>
