I am applying to Brown this fall as a transfer student, and I was wondering what you all thought my chances might be.

High School:
-Attended audition based boarding school for the arts–classical piano. (Sophomore-Senior Year)
-Traveled to many different places for classical piano–switzerland, California, and various places around NC
-Chess club–3 years.
-Freshman year of high school–when I attended public school–was on varsity golf team and made academic all conference.
-3.7 Unweighted GPA
-34 English/32 Math/11 on essay (ACT). I forget what my writing and science scores were, though I know my science was pretty horrid; I’m thinking about retaking it.
-700 US Hist Sat II
-4 US Hist AP, 5 AB Calc AP
-My main extracurricular in high school was really just practicing classical piano; I would typically practice 4-5 hours a day.

College:
-UNC Chapel Hill
-Volunteering at campus radio station
-Gigging with “indie-rock” band–releasing our first album soon and are playing shows all around North Carolina.
-Still am not sure what my GPA will be, but I’m hoping for a 3.6 or above. I’m taking incredibly hard classes, though. Calc 2, computer science, art history, english, and a drama course “play analysis”.

I applied to Brown last year and didn’t get it, and I really want to give it another shot. Do any of you have any advice for me in regards to what I should do improve my chances? Should I retake standardized tests? Is it even worth applying?

Thanks so much.
