I'm a High School Senior right now and i kinda slacked off in highschool. I have a 3.25 right now and got a 26 on my ACT( :() I took a very though coursload(11 APs). I will probably be heading off too Georgia State University in the Fall. I just wanted to know if i will have a chance to transfer(with my gpa and ACT scores like this) and what will it take from me to get to Brown.

It will likely take two years of college to mitigate your high school record. Brown is notorious for accepting few transfers, so try and get your college GPA as close to 4.0 as possible (3.7 is an informal cutoff of sorts) and have stellar recommendations and essays. Your ACTs will hurt you, but again, as a junior transfer, the damage is far less.

That being said, I think it’s a bit premature to be scheming about a transfer before starting college at all! Give your new school a chance and totally immerse yourself in it. Most successful transfers have that attitude and sincerely invest themselves in one place before thinking about leaving.

Where can I see those stats?
