not to doubt…but that’s weird. Brown’s yield rate is 55.6 and .556 times 1605 is 895…and that seems like a VERY small class size for a school of 6000 students.

I’m pretty sure the 1605 in the letter does not include students who are admitted but don’t attend, so the yield rate is already taken into account. 1605 is their ‘target’ number
correction: I’m not “pretty sure,” (not at all) but that was the first thing I thought of
here’s the actual sentence from the letter: “This year Brown received more than 30,000 applications for 1605 spaces in the Class of 2019, and the Board of Admissions has directed that I send this letter to a very small number of candidates - you among them.”
I wonder if there’s a way to see on the portal if you’ve been accepted.

Can anyone send me the url for where the decisions will be released cuz when I log onto mine, all I see is, Decision: Decisions are not available at this time.

@kohwalsh It’s a chrome extensions where if you open tabs it gives money to charity but there’s a school vs. school march madness type thing going on. If you join it gives Brown extra tabs. It’s kind of silly but it makes me happy to do it and to help Brown, even if I don’t go there. Use this link to get Brown some extra hearts (again, I’m sorry that this is silly)
