BS Class of 2018 Thread

@NYCMomof3, I am happy for you and your family…Yes, a big congratulations!!!

Thank you @gardenstategal and @Mama Paradox

@NYCMomof3 Congratulations!! Its such a relief to have it all done! Now to just find a way to pay for itall!

@NYCMomof3: Happy to hear that what must have been a BUSY school year for you and your family is coming to a happy close.

Curious if there are any more active/semi-active posters from the class of 2018 who care to share where they/their kid is headed in the Fall…

Congrats from me, too, @NYCMomof3.

Woo hoo @NYCMomof3 !!

Congrats @nycmomof3!

Congrats everyone! I just got back from my last Parents Weekend at Cate, and am already mourning the end of our journey there. I will miss those kids (and their parents) so much when they all scatter to new adventures. GMCkid took it down to the wire with her final college decision - but she is off to U of St. Andrews in the Fall! I can’t believe that she is heading 6 hours away by plane AGAIN, but in the opposite direction!!! Should I take this personally? :((

Congrats on St. Andrews. My kids have old BS friends that go there. They are all very happy. According to my kid who visited the students are very friendly and it is beautiful.

Congrats, @NYCMomof3 and @GMC2918! A friend’s son is at St. Andrew’s and loves it there.

DS decided to attend Bentley University. It offers exactly what he was looking for- a focused undergraduate business program. He will be a dual Finance/ economics major. He will be close to home - vs his other 2 siblings who attend college in CO and DC. Yes- we will have 3 in college next year. Lucky us.

Woo hoo @GMC2918 and @vegas1 — great news!!!

Congratulations @GMC2918 and @vegas1!

Congrats to everyone who has both BS and college decisions in the rear-view mirror!

Congrats, @NYCMomof3, @GMC2918, and @vegas1!

@Momto4kids you’re right…how to pay for it all :((

Thank you @ChoatieMom @AppleNotFar @twinsmama and @GoatMama

It has been very interesting the past few days to see my children making some adult decisions about their futures. My daughter, who didn’t know what she would major in and intended to explore many areas of interest, was just forced to decide on a major, due to an unexpected opportunity that came up. My son, who has been focused for a long time on a particular career, is seriously thinking of taking another path. Anyway, I am happy because I got to hug them both yesterday (I made a trip to Mercersburg to bring home a carload of stuff). Happy Mother’s Day to all!

^^Yikes! Picking a major without exploring when that was the plan… Hope it’s one heck of an "opportunity "!

Sending fortitude to all of you!

@gardenstategal , Yes, it’s the kind that would be almost impossible to walk away from. But it required a lot of soul searching about who she is and who she intends to become.
