BS in Industrial Technology, Computer Electronics and Network Technology at SJSU

Has anyone here actually done this degree or a degree like this and managed to get a decent job with it afterwards? Whenever I search job sites in the Bay Area with "Industrial Technology" very few jobs show up.... :/

Hi, I know this is an old post, but as for anyone considering this major in the future…

It’s really a major that you yourself must make the most out of; as a current student (originally an EE, transferring into IT: CENT), and full time employee, you can DEFINITELY get a great job out of this major. The major setback for many people is that they don’t know what the major is actually about. (It should actually be called Quality Assurance like the MS program).

With a major this vague, you really have to be able to sell your personality as skills are something that can be taught.

I currently make roughly 60k a year + overtime as an entry level Validation Engineer (3 years prior intern experience in the medical industry) for a medical robotics company without a degree yet.
