BS in medical sciences UC

Please advise what is minimum ACT/GPA and unweighted GPA need to qualify into BS medical sciences (pre med) at UC.

They cancelled the dual enrollment program for this year and it was a 1300 SAT and 29 ACT to be able to apply. Below are stats on Medical Sciences program.

  • Average ACT composite score of 27*
  • Average SAT composite score of 1340 (critical reading and math combined)*
  • High school GPA of at least 3.5 (unweighted) or 3.7 (weighted)*
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities

Have composite score of 31 and one test score is 29. UC doesn’t take composite. Have unweighted GPA of 3.8 for now. Does anyone know it’s enough to get into Medsci program. Hoping to some aid too.

I don’t know much about the med sci program, but do not get your heart set on much aid from UC. They go shallow and wide - meaning most of their in-state scholarships for incoming freshmen are a couple grand, with a volunteer requirement, and spread very widely. That doesn’t mean you won’t get anything, but be prepared that they don’t offer much to most people.
