@matrix007- oh, gotcha. sorry for the misunderstanding! I guess I must have just thought that way b/c of there being quite a few NY programs that are for NY residents only. However, @desigirl123, I would ask for matrix’s advice, as I apparently have no clue what I’m talking about haha.

I agree with matrix007. When I interviewed I was the only one from NY State. Our tour guide, a junior in the program, was from Boston. The seniors who sat with us at lunch were from CA, NJ, MA, NY and CT.

@TheBombingRange, what do you mean about USciences? People who get into the program have a hard time matriculating to medical school?

Has anyone gotten anything from the University of South Alabama? (besides butterfli)

@sanguinee They basically said that they take people into the program but not many of them end up matriculating. Again, I’m not completely sure, but I don’t think it is a guarantee of a seat, I think you have to reinterview in order to get the seat. Ask them when you are there.

@BombingRange- just wondering, but do you know the MCAT requirement for USciences? I know that it will be changing by the time we take it, but what is it for the old MCAT?

@sjshah where did u get ur interviews?

No idea about USciences. The Commonwealth Medical College is focused on community-based medicine, so they may not need it. I was surprised that the AMC programs don’t need the MCAT.

@thebombingrange do u think I still have hope? :(

@desigirl, which albany program are you hoping for?

I actually interviewed at Siena last week-I was in-state. Out of the 4 that interviewed that day, 3 were in state.

But I have to say, I don’t think state has much bearing. They were telling us about the people coming for the next day and most were out of state. So you definitely have a chance! Good lucK!

I’m waiting for an interview from union and rpi

@tenacious mind posting ur stats?

@msxkjp, did you get NJMS interview?

@sjshah sorry to keep bugging you, but have you heard anything from Boston University? I called today and February 15th is the official deadline for interview notifications to go out. They said they’re still making calls throughout this week but I’m getting really really nervous.

@retro22

Yes I did. Just the other day! Completely surprised. Thought I was rejected since my friend who interviewed later got his earlier than I did.

@tlulla- no, I haven’t unfortunately. I REALLY hope they call. I want this program extremely bad. and you’re not bugging me- you’re the only one in my shoes!

@thebombingrange yes i am ny and i applied to sophie davis but i have yet to hear back from them

hi guys! for the penn interview, there were three different emails, each saying a different time we had to be there (9:30 or 10:00 or 10:30). Which one is correct?
