Butterfli how long did it take for union to reply back?

after what? sending in the supplemental? 3 days

Yup thanks! :)

Ugh I’m really freaking out I’m hoping for Albany…

@butterfli- Mulenburg…isn’t that with Drexel Med?

anyone else going to the usciences or uconn interview?

USciences- yes. this friday

i am going this friday as well! what time is yours?

I believe it’s at 1:00 or 1:30…I honestly cannot remember haha

haha my interview is at 1:30 so yours is at 1 most likely

USciences has had a terrible success rate at pushing students through into the med school, which is why I didn’t apply. Good luck to those that are interviewing, but realize that the program has caveats which you may not have known.

@desigirl23 Are you in state for NJMS? What school did you apply through? Did you get the first interview at that school? I’m sorry for your, they actually have a pretty nice program, especially if you are in state.

@ the bombing range is there anything you know about the usciences program you can share with us?

Pretty much just that. I visited the school and inquired about the program. They do have a lot of kids going to med schools from the general pool, but the combined program isn’t worth much at all. @egyprince for curiosity, are you in NY? I know you said you applied to Sophie Davis. Did you get an interview? And did you hear from Brooklyn yet?

@sjshah yes, that was with drexel med

@thebombingrange I’m from nj… I’m really hoping for Albany… :(

Then don’t feel bad. I didn’t meet a single kid with less than a 2330 SAT score. It’s just the nature of these programs- they tend to get applicants that are perfect, and even when you have a perfect score, you’re not guaranteed anything. You’ll get the next one.

Do u think I might have a chance with Albany sjshah? Ur really consoling at this moment thanks…

Are you in-state? B/c I believe all the Albany programs have a high-presence for in-staters. I say this based off my own experience (paid $150 for the application fee…then sent rejection the next day). Again, not saying that they don’t accept out-of-state applicants, b/c they obviously do, but it might be a little harder. (someone correct me if I’m wrong)

@sjshah its not true about AMC. My son attended the interview and is waiting to hear back. Based on the information they provided during the interview - majority of the students in the last year’s class come from NY, CA, MA and NJ (almost in equal proportion I belive) - and very few from other states.

@IfoundNemo Thanks once again for your positive feedback about child’s PSU/JMC experience so far
