***BS/MD Interview Notification for Class of 2013***

Thanks everyone. Chicago

Congrats to @Fallsat - proud parents.

@NKB747 I was told that you can’t do PRISM and HPME at the same time. Look at the FAQ. [PRISM - Advanced Program for Integrated Science and Math | Enrollment Management | University of Miami](http://www.miami.edu/index.php/prism/)

Heard GOOD joke about anorexic…Patient presents to her shrink and Dr. says, “Look at you, you look like you haven’t had food in days!”. Patient replies, “Yes I did, I had A CHEERIO for breakfast!!!” (LOL)

Thanks matrix. How was your son’s HPME interview? Ours went very well

@fallpsat My son seems to think that he did well. Will have to wait and see if that translates to an offer :)

Finally unbanned lmao I got banned for saying the a word twice, and for a week.

So have you been invited for interview for UT-PACT?

I had my Brooklyn BA-MD interview yesterday. Until yesterday, I was so eager to get into the program because of the low tuition benefits combined with other things like a free mac book and all. But now, I feel that Sophie Davis or AMC will be better for me because of the MCAT. Even though I have a very high GPA, I did not score well on my SAT. I’m afraid for myself since I’m not an amazing test taker. The interviewer told me that they’re raising the minimum score on each subject, and the MCAT is including more subjects, so now I’m having second thoughts. The other thing is that if the minimum MCAT score is not obtained, then they will kick you out of the entire program (and I know people who were kicked out)–which is like risking 4 years of my entire life…so I think Sophie Davis or AMC is a better choice for me because they don’t require the MCAT.

I agree wtih you sbm, i interviewed at schools that required the mcat and it seems so much more of a risk than just trying for a higher gpa and no mcat.

Just got accepted to RPI/Albany! So stoked!! :D

Congrats Medgirl123! When was your interview? How did you find out (email, phone)?

Thanks! It was in January. And by email.

cool, my interview was in February, so hopefully I’ll hear soon!

I hope you get in! I’m definitely going, so maybe I will see you next year! Best of luck :)

Congrats medgirl123!!! Someone on another thread just said her daughter heard from Siena/AMC, but she didn’t say yet if she was notified by mail or email. I’m waiting to hear from Siena/AMC and have been hoping I’d find out soon!! My interview was almost a month ago. Anyone else hear from Siena/AMC or RPI/AMC?

Congrats medgirl123!!! you should be proud of yourself.

I’m waiting to hear from any of the AMC programs and Sophie Davis. I really don’t want to be spending the next four years of my life in a program that requires the MCAT and then being kicked out of the Brooklyn BA-MD program for not getting the required MCAT score after all that hard work.

And congratulations, medgirl123! That’s so awesome!

@Medgirl123 congratulations! has RPI offered any merit scholarships?

@medgirl123, do you mind posting your stats?
