Has anyone received an interview call yet after submitting the supplement?

I just received my supplement for AMC. Its due in a week.

RPI or Union?

Spoke to Union. Interview call likely end Jan. 2013, 400 apps received. 311 sent to AMC, 90 called for AMC interview, 35 offered admission, 15 accepted.

@BiomedFather, wow just imagine the application fees AMC gets from the supplementals! Good luck to everyone.

Just heard from Drexel-Drexel via email, saying they forwarded my app to the med school. They wrote that the interview is sometime in mid-February, so I don’t think the February 1st date that some people were saying is true for this specific program.

@starlight27, congrats. Yes, it is kinda confusing about the Drexel interview. My son is going up to the Northeast for his U of Sciences and SBU on January 25 and he has specifically been asked by Rosemont to consider staying in Philly until Feb 1, 2014 for the Drexel interview if he is invited for it, unless they are having different interview dates for different Drexel programs.

I got my AMC supplement for RPI

And just like starlight, I was emailed that my application was forwarded to Drexel COM but I’m still not accepted to Drexel undergrad lol.

And I just called to find out that my application for NJIT’s program was forwarded to the medical school.

@IMGDAD- yeah that’s definitely confusing. Congrats to your son though!!

@MedicalBoy- AHHH that’s all awesome news! Congratulations! How did RPI notify you?

@MedicalBoy
Congratulations!

Thank you. AMC notified me through email.

It’s still early January so don’t get discouraged if you don’t hear from colleges yet. Some colleges keep sending notifications till the end of the month and even the first week of February.

It is good to see a burst of good news. Good job everyone!

@IMGDAD, thanks for keeping me posted about Kean/Drexel.

My daughter has not heard anything from RPI yet since she submitted the supplement. Anyone else heard anything from AMC?

Hey congrats people! Good news!
My S did not get email from drexel & his app portal says he is still being considered but I think this is not going to work out for him. Not sure if Drexel is one of those who send info out in batches but my gut says no.

@starlight27, got the drexel email as well!
@midhelper, I’m just assuming this as acceptance to the UG program as well b/c they STILL haven’t updates anything for me either, but if they forwarded the app, it must mean acceptance to the drexel ug was decided first. There is still lots of time until they keep updating

@GreenSage- Yay!!! Congrats For the actual drexel ug app, did you put down EAII consideration or just RD? I put down EA II just because the BS/MD program deadline was in time for that deadline as well, and that’s the only reason I (and others) heard back early. If you had put down Regular Decision, not to worry, because they’re only releasing decisions for that in March. I’m sure you’re in.

@SaiMedical- Wait did your D already submit the AMC application, or has she not yet heard from them since sending in the RPI application in November? I applied and still haven’t heard either. I guess we’ll see soon enough. Good luck to her!

Yeah he also applied EA I to drexel and he got UG acceptance with scholarship on Dec.18 but no med interview request today. But this was the school we totally read the tuition and costs incorrectly & I am not so sure it makes sense for us to spend that on UG. He got more than double scholarships through Union. BUT it still would have been good to get that email.

By the way, RPI does its thing well into Feb as well so don’t worry.

@Midhelper- I wouldn’t lose hope. Many schools spread out the emails, so don’t write it off just yet! And yeah Drexel is incredibly expensive anyways. Good luck to your son! And thank you :)

@shimmeringaway and @CAJ2014 Thank you both for the support, I never really wanted PSU/Jeff anyway but oh well, just feeling a bit nervous for the other programs now
I was notified after I logged in on the Penn State website, which said that they couldn’t allow acceptance into my major of choice (the accelerated program). Not sure what that means for you if they are still looking yours over.
Good news is that Drexel sent an e-mail saying my app was forwarded to the med school.
Any good news or notifications for anybody else?

Other question, how long ago were people told that their NJIT apps were forwarded to the medical school? Still didn’t get any notice/call…
