BS/MD program accepted student's profiles

Hey! If you got into any BS/MD program, this is the place to post your stats! Please indicate your unweighed/weighed GPA, ACT/SAT score, SATii scores, class rank, extracurricular activities, and any research or hospital activities that you have done.

I was also wondering if you think I would be a good candidate for any of the programs (I'm probably going to apply to the BS/MD programs at VCU, Penn State, University of Miami, Rennselaer, Union College, Rice, and Stonybrook).
3.81 unweighted GPA
4.70 weighted GPA
33 ACT score
700 Math SATII
720 Chem SATII

President of 2 science clubs in school for past 3 years
Volunteer at 2 hospitals (one in a 3rd world country, another at a local hospital)
Intern at a university research laboratory

I have been exchanging emails with a some people at a few of the universities I want to apply to as well.

You could also apply to Northwestern HPME. If you got up your sat II scores (math II particularly), they would be about in line with typical applicants.

You would probably be competitive at all of the BS/MD programs except for Rice. Rice is ridiculously hard to get into.

Also how is your GPA so different? From a 3.8 to a 4.7?

Jriversa, I second what Rijudasgupta said. Rice is extremely hard to get into, and people would literally “kill” to get in.

Rijudasgupta, GPA isn’t really that important. What matters is the level of coursework and the grades that one receives. Plus, a huge difference between the UW/W GPA’s would bring attention to the eyes of the adcoms.
