Hi everyone,
Can anyone help me by providing stats on international applicants( foreign nationals, studied outside USA) admitted to combine BS/MD programs?
Also, seeking help from all who were successful in getting into BS/MD --regarding how you guys manage to get time to do so much APs, EC , sports, community service, shadowing etc? As an IB Diploma student, I am unable to find so much time.Is your school academics work easier than the IB Diploma ?Please share your views.
BTW, i am planning apply for BS/MD 2014.Thanks

BSMD - Please start a separate thread for your question. Any answers here will be deleted since it is a results thread.

So where are the results from everybody? We all have graduated and only a handful of people have posted on here!

Ditto…some of us and our young brethren need perspective to move forward. The wanna-beeees would like to know…???

Thanks for your posting here. My D is also interested in BS/MD. Question for you: we heard that Drexel BS/MD decided which underg school you attend. In your case, you applied Drexel, NOVA, Lehigh and you were accepted both Drexel and Nova. Drexel actually accepts you to both under? I am not sure how they select the under for the BS/MD applicant. My D is a NMS finalist in PA who can go to Drexel for free tuition, but not clear with Lehigh and NOVA. If she applies to three under, Drexel may reject her BS/MD to Drexel under, which she will loose the free tuition with Drexel BS/MD. We know Lehigh/Nova are better under than Drexel, but since we’re not qualified for any need-based aid, Drexel is still appealing. Is that make sense to you? Like to hear your suggestions. Wish your best luck in TCNJ!

My D applied only to Drexel/Drexel. She wanted to stay in the city. You can apply to one or more of the programs. The med school is the most important part. No one cares where you went to undergrad. If she has choices (fingers crossed) then she should go to the undergrad she would be happy at (it is 3 yrs of her life) and given that the money is important in decision making.

@butterfli123 Congratulations on your bs/md admission!

I was looking at the schools that you applied to and I applied to the last one on your list. It was Shepherd/WV School of Medicine. I wanted to know some more information about this program.
