I have maintained roughly a 3.9 throughout highschool, and 4.0's junior and senior year (so far). Is it true that I can get a one or two B's second semester, as long as no C's and still attend USC?

Thanks,

Yes. A's and B's are good. All A's is best. However, a friend of mine just got in last week and had one C both semesters in AP Chem last year. So... It depends on your whole application.

If you've already been accepted, you don't really need to worry about your grades. I'm not saying to screw around your last semester in HS, but as long as you don't fail your classes you will be fine.

Keep in mind though, he's also saying 2+2=5

mraoshi: I'm sure a good number of applicants were accepted with a few B's as a final grades for a year. Don't stress over it.

bmwguy: I believe mraoshi is talking about his last semester grades in HS after already being accepted to USC. In which case, as long as you pass all of your classes, you are golden.

Yes, definitely. My daughter let her grades slide the second semester because she was accepted to USC in January(when her first semester ended).

cool. I'll take it easy from now on. haha.
