Hey guys! I just auditioned for BU. I thought I did my best and one judge asked if I had applied to BUTI. When I replied that I had not. She then said that the deadline was passed but that she would put in a good word for me and contact me later. The rest of the judges nodded. Is that a good sign, or should I be worried?

BUTI often takes people after the deadline, without audition, if they want them.

How could this possibly be anything but a good sign?

Years ago, I auditioned for BU, but I hadn’t applied to what was then just called Tanglewood. Shortly after, I was offered a scholarship to Tanglewood as well as a scholarship to BU. So it does happen.
