I am auditioning for both BU and BUTI this winter. I could have sworn that the BUTI website said something about a BU audition serving as an audition for BUTI, but I have looked again and can't find anything...has anyone done this? I know that it is possible to audition for BU while at BUTI, so maybe that's what I saw.

<p>phrygian17: you can just call BU. At least as of last year, it was possible to audition for both at one time.</p>
<p>In the application, many of the options are marked something along the lines of “for those auditioning to BU only”, where you would provide additional information. There was also a scroll down menu from which you could select what you are auditioning for and one of the options is “Auditioning for BU and BUTI”. I’d check your application and then call up the school to make sure that everything is all set!</p>
<p>My S did this dual audition 2 years ago, it served both as his BU and BUTI audition. If I remember correctly, there was a place on the BUTI application that indicated that you would be doing a live audition. I would definitely call the BUTI office to confirm this, they are very helpful there. Also, make sure that at the time of the audition that you reconfirm that you are also auditioning for BUTI. There was a panel of teachers there from BU but the audition was also recorded.</p>
