BU chances?

<p>I've applied to BU early decision.... </p>

<p>chance me? :)</p>

<p>White Female</p>

<p>3.79 GPA (out of 4.5, my high school does not weigh grades)
Class rank not given by school</p>

<p>SAT-640 math, 640 reading, 670 writing</p>

<p>suburban high school- VERY good academic reputation (thats the reason i moved to this town :-\ )</p>

<p>first generation college student, dual citizen of USA and Poland</p>

<p>essay was of "ok" quality, i somewhat rushed it. written about my experiences with learning english. </p>

<p>rigorous schedule (as compared to others in my school),
english- 4 years (2 honors then 2 AP)
latin- 4 years
history- 4 years (1 honors then 3 AP)
math- 4 years (regular level)
science- 3 years (2 regular level, 1 Honors)
mostly science electives...</p>

<p>national honors society, national art honors society, national language honors society, mu alpha theta (=math honors society)</p>

<p>average amount of EC activities...
varsity track for 4 years
Junior Statesmen of America, 2 years
Rep for senior class in the Junior Classical League (Latin club)
charity work for honors societies
art club- 4 yrs.. we work on painting every wall in our high school... its very colorful in there :)
alot of work experience; working as a swim instructor for young children (2 years), lifeguard for 3 years, tutor in geometry for one year</p>

<p>Awesome EC's, and your test scores are about average for BU. </p>

<p>I think you have a great chance at getting into BU, especially considering you're an English language learner, and you took honors/AP English. I'd say overall you have an 80 percent chance of getting in (perhaps more.) </p>

Especially the fact that you ED will definately increase your chances.
Your test scores are decent for BU...and your EC's are good too.
