oh man i think the analyzing of every little detail of the housing portal/applicant status page is wayy overboard
doing that just gives you guys more stress…
@Faultystart I agree. This forum went from 12 pages to 35 in two days over some stupid “thank you” or “our records indicate” notification. They mean nothing. Everyone just wait for Saturday.
do you think it will be saturday in the morning or later in the day?
@Ruby99 The portals will have the decisions up on Saturday at 8am EST.

The beauty of having these open forums is of course for information but also for a fair bit of entertainment value. In the 7 years that I have been on and off these forums I have seen quite a few hacks work. So I say more power to you, scour the interwebs for clues and try to feel a touch more control of your destiny!
Anybody that had access to the housing portal have you seen any change ?
Hey all. I’m a current BU student and last year before decisions came out we tried to go on the housing portal and if it says new student on it and you’re able to log on it means you got accepted!
@lolog123 so if we can’t get into the housing portal we didn’t get in?

@michiganea2021 I can’t get in either. I don’t think it is a clear indication. I hope not because BU is one of the schools I was hoping to get into!
I don’t think this is an indication of our decision, lets just wait and see !

I got the Thank You message and I cant get in but I couldn’t see how the getting in to the housing portal is relevant since it only pertains to the summer session not the fall so 2021 Students wouldn’t be allowed to into that pool hence they wouldn’t be uploaded into the housing server quite yet.
I can get into the housing portal, but it doesn’t say new student. Where is it supposed to say that?

Are you guys still able to get on the housing portal or was that only before? Try again now I don’t think it still works
my applicant link says “thank you…” but i can’t get into the housing portal… i’m not sure if the housing portal means anything though. i looked on last years thread and there were people who had “access denied” and still got in… fingers crossed haha
@CathJR I have Thank you but I didn’t try to log in into the housing portal until short ago and many of the people that got in did it when the update was happening and then many got locked out after so I am very Unsure if this is an Easter egg from BU or just a glitch from the system
