Got accepted… Really glad cause I got rejected from other schools yesterday.
1420, 3.7/4, part of various community service clubs, NHS, school band, quad-lingual with language licenses, 1 3rd place and 2nd place award in academic tournaments.
I’m international student so I couldn’t apply financial aid though. Don’t think I’ll be able to afford it. Sad…
Rejected - 30 ACT 3.8/4.5 gpa, AP scholar w/distinction, 4 yr varsity, strong extras. Accepted at UW, LMU, Univ of San Diego (with full scholarship) going there! Good luck everyone, I hope you all find your spot!
Rejected. 1370 sat, 4.5 gpa, approx. 4th in my class out of 240, very involved, lots of leadship. I got into BC (29% acceptance rate) but not here or northeastern. My sats are the exact average for BU and I thought I had a fairy decent shot at getting in. Maybe I would require too much financial aid? Whatever BC seems like a better school to me and they gave me $40k a year so I guess it’s between there and uconn. Good luck everyone.
S was rejected. He was torn between BU and Rochester. Since UR came through, and with a nice scholarship package to boot, his decision is pretty much made now. Congrats to all accepted and good luck to everyone else. You will find the right place for you.
Rejected, but congrats to all those who were accepted. Stats: 4.4/4.5 GPA, 1360 SAT, 30 ACT, a lot of ECs I also thought I would have a good chance of getting in, but oh well, this is not to be, and I probably would not have gotten any scholarships anyway, so probably wouldn’t have been able to go anyways. Anyways, good luck guys!
Congratulations everyone! Just wanted to add a note for everyone who didn’t get enough financial aid. I was accepted ED and was given very little aid and I appealed the offer and the financial aid office was very helpful throughout the process and gave me over $10000 more a year! So there is absolutely no harm in at least trying to get more if you really want to go but it is truly unaffordable.
I had applied for the Trustee scholarship, didn’t get any scholarship. I’m an international student. Is there anything I can do now? It’s too expensive for me
