Im from northern florida and was recently accepted to both BU and UF. Considering that cost is irrelevant, which school has a better academic reputation? Im going to be majoring in economics btw…

wow two completely different schools lol. BU is not an ordinary campus and is verryyyy urban. UF is normal and in a not so urban small college town. i've heard that gainsville is totally boring, unlike boston, which i believe is one of the reasons UF is such a big party school. however, both universities have great reputations for being great schools. i'm not sure which is better in economics, i guess you can just do some research on that. i also got accepted to BU and UF and i live in miami. however the difference with me is i never wanted to go to UF in the first place. it was just a safety school to me and the real competition for me was between BU and UM but i eventually choice BU. good luck in choosing!

chose*
. . .

Are you into sports? Do you have a pile of Gators t-shirts? BU is not a big sports school, certainly not SEC style. There is almost no way of comparing Boston to N. Florida.
