Regarding the social media-related email, there has been nothing for me yet (applied to CAS)
@VanilllaIce Yep! I’m applying for mechanical engineering. It’s interesting how the email is from freshman counselors, though it does seem like one of those emails they send to everyone. I think the best thing to do at this point is to not overthink it and assume it’s nothing.
No email like the one you’ve received! I hope that isn’t a bad sign :-S
@greeneandh Maybe try searching it up in your emails? I got mine a while ago. Also, @VanilllaIce got it just recently, so you might get it between now and March 17! Seriously, don’t worry about it too much :^)

@deliriouslydead Awesome! I applied for Chemical Engineering as my primary, but Mechanical as second choice. We might meet each other some day in the same dorm?? 
@greeneandh Yeah, I hope it isn’t a bad sign either, but to be honest, I now think it’s actually neither good nor bad. First of all, the email was wayy too short and second of all, it seems as if only engineering majors or College of Engineering applicants received the email so far…
I applied for COE and I have not received this email
@flhs23 It might come in the next few days! But again, I wouldn’t worry about it because a simple email honestly shouldn’t predict a decision. I just think that you haven’t got one yet because BU hasn’t reviewed your application yet
