I am looking to do Business, probably finance, with an economics minor.
Pros to GW:
slightly higher ranked and reputation slightly better
nicer dorms
smaller size
close to home (1.5hrs)

Pros to BU:
nicer campus
more options if i choose to change majors
less princess like people
mass decriminalized

Is this USNews talking? I wouldn’t necessarily put GW above BU. GW is really only exceptional in Political Science, International Relations, and courses along that vein. BU is a research institute with some of the highest ranked programs in the nation; this includes economics and business.

hey thissiteisstupid.
im in the same position as you. also a business major deciding between bu and gw.
Honestly, i would pick GW like THAT, if it weren’t for the “princess like people” as you called it. I’m just not sure if i want that kind of atmosphere. GW’s campus i feel is better though, i thought commonwealth ave was just a boring strip of land lol. gw doens’t have that much school spirit- no football team, connects with the “princess like people” i guess.
tell me how you’re deciding.

I think BU is a better school, but it depends on your particular interest.

I would say BU … USnews is kind of dumb, dont base your opinions on that. I did that too and I would say now that it’s just a stupid list.
