BU v. Syracuse (for communications)

I was all set to attend COM at Boston University and then I got off the dual newhouse-whitman waitlist.
Truthfully, I'm pretty much aware that other than the actual communications schools, I'd probably prefer to go to BU. The location and general student attitude is more my style. That said, I'm not against syracuse really, I just like BU more.
So I guess the real question is, is going to newhouse really worth it in the long run? Or is it really about what you make of the education and not necessarily which school you choose? Or, just convince me that syracuse is my dream school.
I'm gonna be an advertising major, by the way.
Give me any opinions/suggestions you have, please!

Personally, I would choose BU…
Actually, I wanted to choose BU over Syracuse because it’s better respected for what I’m interested in; i didn’t get enough aid from BU. But anyways, BU is in a really excellent area and it is pretty well respected for communications. That said, Newhouse is practically unbeatable and you will make connections which are far more extensive at Newhouse. Ultimately, if money isn’t an issue for you, you’ll probably have a lot more fun at BU. You might get better job opportunities coming out of Syracuse, but I’m not sure if it’s worth living in snow and a not so nice city for the 4 best years of your life.

That’s just my take on this, though. There’s really no wrong choice here. Both schools are excellent and offer two different but interesting kinds of social life.
