BU vs Georgetown?

I recently got into GT MSB off the waitlist and I’m committed to BU Questrom. Does anyone have any words of wisdom to help with this decision?

Depends on what you are looking for in a college experience. Some details would help.

Also are both schools equally affordable? Are you in the b-school at Grown?

Both BU and Georgetown are very good schools. Georgetown is considered more elite but, as the other posters commented, it all depends on what you want out of your college experience, the programs you’re interested in and where you want to be. For example, BU has a much more urban campus (similar to NYU) while Georgetown’s is more traditional. Please provide more details.

I’m planning to major in international business, and I am in the business schools at both GT and BU. Both schools would cost the same. I like that Georgetown is close to the city and has more of a campus feel, but I like Boston better than DC. The most important thing for me is which college gives me the best education and which one can set me up the best for a career. The social lives at both schools seem somewhat similar so I haven’t thought about that much.

As I look at the catalogues of the 1 schools, it appears to me that each school is doing something very different from the other. The Georgetown approach is more interesting to me. Combine this with the fact that Georgerown’s reputation in international business is one of the very best in the country, and it quod seem that you’re coming out with more for your money at Georgetown.

Of course what appeals to me is not important here. I suggest that you compare and contrast the offerings in international business at each school and see which one appeals to you. All things being equal, I’d go with Georgetown because of their reputation.
