Which school is better, Boston U or Northeastern and why?
can this thread not. both are two different schools and people have different preferences. some can say northeastern provides the co op which makes it better than BU while others can say BU is more recognized and has as equal the opportunities. let’s not and just appreciate that both schools are good schools…
Sorry to be rude, but there are plenty of threads just like these, that will give you the same information, if you take the time to look back through the forums, rather than just going and creating another one. Both schools are great and have their reasons for being great. Each school isn’t “better than the other”.
BU is ranking higher in the 2016 US News Ranking, so they must be better

I go to BU and my twin goes to NEU. We both are loving life right now. The experiences are a bit different though. BU has more of a traditional experience whilst NEU is more coop focused. Its a personal preference. Yes BU is ranked higher, but in college I’ve realised it doesn’t matter as much if they are in the same ballpark of one another. The academics are both superb, so you aren’t sacrificing that if you choose to go to either of them. I’m in Questrom and the professors and classes I’ve had so far have been amazing. The party scene, there’s a lot more happening at and around BU due to it being more central to other colleges. That said, a lot of Northeastern people can be seen around campus at night going on an Allston crawl because we are pretty damn close to each other! In terms of food, I would say BU has it better by a long shot. I love the food so much and I have the unlimited plan so its an all you can eat buffet for me 
Northeastern has a weird system with food and they don’t have such clear meal plans like BU. Sorry if I sound biased, but I do go to BU and I chose it over Northeastern due to my personal preference.
