I haven’t seen a thread for official results for Bucknell’s class of 2020 … so I felt like starting one! Who got in ED? Who applied? What are your stats?

Got an email last night from the President’s encouraging me to apply to Presidential Fellows (http://www.bucknell.edu/x80629.xml). I am probably reading too much into it and am incorrect in assuming that I am going to be accepted, but it feels nice to be invited even if it is not a decision yet.

Applied RD. In the past, decisions came out at 12am on the 25th on the portal. Are you guys staying up to find out? I am worried that I will be rejected and will have to suffer through school the next day. Thoughts?
I am just grateful Bucknell gives us a set date. I hate trying to figure out when other school’s decisions will be released!
Hey did anyone receive a Bucknell University STEM Scholars program invitation? What does it mean? I am freaking out!!!

Maybe it is a hint you are accepted? Maybe it is because you put down a science as your major? not sure. will see on the 25th, though!
@ellaak I received it too. I’m trying not to take it as a “likely”, but it’s a scholars program for admitted students so…
really? I am hoping its a good sign. I don’t know tho, I mean how are your grades and sat scores because I am not confident in mine
Our D recieved it too, she is majoring in Chemical Engineering…fingers crossed!!!
@ellaak there were a lot of signs in the email that hinted towards an acceptance. 1. “talented students” 2. “we are not able to give your offer of admission YET” (or something along those lines but basically it said admission and yet) 3. the program is only for admitted students from 2020. I’d say my scores are OK, 2000+ but my grades are not great at all. I also stalked last years bucknell forum and it seems that the users who posted that they received this email ended up getting accepted. Fingers crossed
