This talk of budget cuts is a little worrying, does anybody know what the extent of the damage would be? As of right now I heard no learning communities or accepted students day.

What does this mean for future students? I wouldn't want this to detract from my experience if I'm admitted.

I don’t think it will be too bad. There may be some increase in class size but you should be OK. Besides, I am fairly confident this economic disaster will be on the road to recovery in about a year. I hope. That means things will improve.

My buddy’s mom said that SUNYs are trying to avoid cutting anything genuinely academic and will still offer a great education. However, the cuts may be evident in other areas most specifically with things like dining options (bing has an awesome dining set up–tons of options–those may be downsized) and late nite Binghamton. No one really knows.

That sucks, I just don’t want it to be like cheap NY public schools where they are getting rid of AP classes and stuff
