Bullying/Teasing at Boarding School- What should a parent do?

Thanks for asking - my son is in a single room - a demand we made and refused to waiver on. Won’t bore everyone with the ongoing saga, he just needs to keep his head down. It appears that the school acknowledges some changes need to be made as committees have been formed and several issues are being “studied” over the summer.

My son has decided to repeat freshman year. He actually requested it and the new school supported the idea. He is one of the youngest in his class now anyway. My son found that repeat freshman had an advantage in many ways at his current school and wanted that same opportunity. He will advance in math and language as if entering sophomore year though. Financially we don’t love this :-), but understand the benefits.

Glad to see you are making a change – good luck next year.

fif wonders what in the name St. George is going on in Middletown, RI!?!
Knowing this school very well, it seems like they have had a VERY tough year.
