Is Bursley hall good? what about people, location, food, entertaiment, how far from eveything??? thanks

i didn't live there, but my best friend did. it is not as bad as it sounds. i don't know what you are looking for, but there are a lot of very cool people with very active social lives. most kids pregame there, go to parties on central, and then ride the vomit comet back. bursely is not filled with dorky asian kids who sit in the room and study or play video games all day.

if you're an engineer, i guess bursley's location is not bad. if you're lsa, it might be bad, especially if you're lazy and don't like going to class, like myself. however, it is beautiful on north. it is wooded, and there are deer all the time.

bursley's food is great. i think it should rank right behind south quad. there's also the little in and out store, blue apple i think, which is very nice.

you'll be very close to the NCRB, which will help if you like to work out. there's a Kroger within walking distance for shopping. you're north campus classes will be about 5 minutes away, although the hill is very steep. you can get from bursley to central campus in about 15 minutes. i believe the bus comes every 5 minutes.

Oh goodness. I heard two fairly decent people turn into awfully annoying people complaining about Bursley's location 24/7 non-stop last year.

"You don't understand what having to wake up 40 minutes earlier is like to take the bus..."

etc.

But they were whiny people anyway. I think they'd find a reason to whine about anything.

thanks for the feedback, sounds like a perfect environment !!!! XDXD I'll enjoy this hehehehe

Yeah, don't worry. the bus rides arent too terrible and it has a great atmosphere. I'd would prefer bursley over many of the dorms on central/hill.

Bursley is really one of the better dorms in terms of room size, food, and the blue apple. Since it's a little more difficult to go out in the evening, people tend to spend more time in the dorm at night. You can move to central campus sophomore year.
