We use politics to choose leaders, define our rights, and basically influence policies to a certain extext.

you make Washington out to be some place a bunch of elected officials get together to have a smoke and coffee..............politics determines our past, present, and future....a law they enact today could change our lives froever.....if the Pres signed an executive order that required that everyone that knows nothing about politics be locked up in detainment camps...then ppl like you would be at a loss!

everyday there's a government official doing something that pertains to you...and if you think politics is so limited to "them" and not us then you're oblivious to life

wow. you totally diverted this argument. Just forget about it..... I woild love to have a REAL debate, provided that conservatives refrain from making personal attacks. i would love to talk about Bush's foreign policy.

i'm sorry but if you hadn't blatantly represented your ignorance on the subject at hand, it wouldn't have gotten that way :)

thats why i want to debate over Bush's foreign policy. Trust me, i have ALOT of research over this and i have my own file loaded with Bush arguments! lol

i don't like Bush's foreign policy so if you disagree as well that wouldn't make for much of a debate

oh man that sucks. I had a really solid argument over it. how about Bush's involvement in the military (Vietnam)?

he wasn't involved....he sat at a desk and filed papers

How about Kerry's involvement in the Presidency?

Oh wait...

lol yeah none of that either....just admit it uc_benz...neither of the candidates this year were really all that up to par...i'm a Republican myself.....so it's nothin against the party...

u guys think hillary clinton has a shot at presidency?

oh hell yeah. Its time for a real leader to step up to the plate. One that actually helps America prosper rather than think about wars 24/7 while still a failure when catching Bin laden (Bush) . I think there will be a "good riddance Bush" holiday in the future. Hilary is SMART and bold, and she's also liberal, LOL. She's nothing like that pea-brained daddy's boy (Bush).

Everyone is gonna vote for hilary 2008.

I dont think Bush eats pretzels anymore.

Yeah, I'm certainly not claiming that Bush is the best president to ever walk to the face of the Earth, and he is certainly not the worst. If there was a better Republican nominee then I'm sure I would have voted for him. But what it came down to was the lesser of two evils, and I believe Bush would be much better than Kerry; hence, I voted for Bush.

And I guess Clinton was a failure because he couldn't catch bin Laden either.

Clinton----> rags (abusive parents, poverty) to riches (good school, governor, highly respected president)

Bush-----> daddy'd boy (poor IQ, Yale because of father)---- avoided Vietnam------> most hated beings on the face of this earth (chokes on pretzels)

Its as simple as that.

Ok, I took the initiative to look for the quote where Bush himself confesses of neglectling Bin Laden: Here it is:

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- George W. Bush, 3/13/2002

And this is his stupid response in the presidential debate about this:

"Uhh Gosh, I.. don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. It's kind of one of those, uhh, exaggerations."
- George W. Bush, 10/13/2004

ummm..... that doesnt look like exaggerating to me. Haha, and uc_benz says bush is the lesser of the two evil. Its actually dumber of the two evils to be accurate.

Man, i just showed you guys the true face of Dubya. looks like you got owned! lol

Bush Quotes:

"It's amazing I won. I was running against peace and prosperity" (when he didnt know that cameras were rolling)

"I dont care how Iraqi people think.. I love in America where its safe and secure"

"We stand for umm.. things"

"More and more of our imports are coming from overseas"

Like duh?

How did this guy get a second term!!

Whats the bigger lie:

"I didnt have sex with an intern"

OR

"Iraq has weapons of mass destruction"

?

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- George W. Bush, 3/13/2002
