Hello, I’m a high school senior right now and I am recently looking at majors in business at UCI. I am confused on which major to choose if I want to become an accountant in the future (and if I actually get accepted to UCI). Which major is better for becoming an accountant? And what is the difference between the two? Thanks! 
if you know you want to be a CPA, the you should study - Accounting. Undergrad accounting at most schools has shifted to be a 5 year (150 semester units) program.
I see UCI doesn’t offer that as an undergrad major so, if you know that’s what you want to do - you should probably go somewhere else.
