I have seen a few schools that offer dual degrees in business and computer science, now i was just wondering what kind of jobs would this dual degree get me. I'm worried that i would get a job thats strictly focused on business or strictly focused on computer science. What would be the point of going through all the hard work at college to get the same result if i would have just majored in one of these disciplines.

BTW two schools that offer this that I'm interested in are Northeastern and Lehigh.

A lot of universities with business programs will have programs in Information Systems. Not sure if that is related to computer science, however.

I did my undergrad in Business Administration and Computer Science at Rhodes College in Memphis. The potential jobs include software development in a corporate environment, quantitative analysis in the finance sector, a systems analysis for a business department in a corporation, or an entrepreneur in the IT sector.

The best business program to choose will depend on what you want to do - if you want to be a quant, finance is definitely best. Otherwise, I’d stick with general management.
