<p>Which is better? I have doubts about getting into Haas and I suddenly remember how I'd gotten into the UC Irvine business program but declined it for Berkeley. Now I'm feeling regretful...</p>
<p>not to be mean (but maybe some bias) but i would even take classics major at berkeley over business at uc-irvine. uc-irvine has no connections to finance/consulting industries at all. it will be hard to advance professionally from irvine no matter what major you are.</p>
<p>i also vaguely remember getting into uc-irvine biz program as a senior but it wasn’t even in my consideration at all. maybe econ at Cal vs. biz econ ucla vs. biz usc is a better dilemma.</p>
<p>Completely agree with demoz. Lots of my friends who are seniors but not in Haas this year have gotten good offers from consulting/finance firms. If you don’t get into Haas, maybe you should look elsewhere to develop yourself professionally (business frat/club, etc).</p>
