Hello,
I am an upcoming high school senior who is looking to get accepted into a top business school. There is only one business class (business law) offered at my high school. My senior schedule is already stacked with many honors and AP classes. Would it be vital for me to take this class to get into a top school even though it is known as a " blow off" class around my school and I would have to drop Spanish IV to fit it into my schedule?

I think you should stick with the toughest general curriculum you can excel in, especially if Business Law is a "blow off" class. Funny how some fluffy classes have high-powered sounding course names, same deal at our school. You'll learn the business stuff in college! (Some business related ECs would look good, though.)

Which schools are you aiming for?

No way, Jos

Virginia
NYU
Penn
Michigan

Business classes in high school will have nothing to do with your admissions into a business school.

Well, you could try self-studying AP Economics rather than take that business class.
