Hello,

I am a sophomore in a sub-par college. According to US NEWS, its rank isn't even published.

I am majoring in Pre-Business with the intention of picking a concentration at the end of the year. So far, I actually enjoy accounting I and want to possibly major in it.

My questions are the following:

Is a major in Accounting more profitable and/or more desirable than a regular business administration degree or another type of degree such as finance?

Also, because my school (Edinboro University of Pennsylvania) isn't even on the map, would this seriously limit my job potential after graduation? (I have a 3.83 GPA and feel as though I can raise it to a 3.9 by graduation; would clubs or other things help?)

Lastly, I am considering transferring to University of Pittsburgh or PSU. My primary concern for that is credit loss, but if it will do that much better for my resume, I may very well take that route.

Thank you all who take the time to answer!
