Business Econ vs. regular Econ with accounting minor?

What are the pros and cons of each?

Thanks

Are they both with the accounting minor?
Because Business Econ basically has the fundamentals of the Accounting minor.
Pro for Business Econ: A lot of classes fit within the requirements for the Accounting minor.
Con for Business Econ: It’s pretty competitive to get in. You need a primary score of 3.3 or higher. They have a formula sheet somewhere…
Pro for Economics: It’s a lot easier to get in compared to Business Economics.
Con for Economics: In order to get that Accounting minor, you’re going to have to take some more classes.

I know this is an old thread but I’d like to know about this as well. Specifically, would I be at a real disadvantage for doing econ + accounting instead of biz/econ from a recruiting standpoint?
