<p>So I just gave up and called the office. They say they are in the process and we should expect letters by the end of this week and if not then, then early next week. Obviously, take that with a grain of salt since they keep pushing the date…</p>
<p>Does getting an interview to BHP guarantee admission to McCombs? I haven’t received anything about my admission, and UT EID says it’s still being reviewed. Is it just because the site hasn’t been updated? Am I in?</p>
<p>@Anish, no an interview doesn’t “guarantee” admission, but I’d say that if you indeed get invited for one you have incredible chances (they’ve already taken an interest to you, that means). Hang in there Anish, we’ve been where you are…don’t lose hope.</p>
<p>General: Do rejection letters come in this early? They’d probably wait it out until march right?</p>
<p>Epiclegend. Since you are in, do you have any idea of what precentage of folks who interviewed actually got into BHP? Also, does BHP try to spread the admissions around to a bunch of high schools? There are a number of folks at my very large HS applying and I am starting to worry that it will pit us against each other when we are all pretty qualified.</p>
<p>I said this earlier up thread, my son was interviewed in 07, did NOT get in. It is not a guarantee.</p>
<p>@smart2010: I don’t think epiclegend stated that they were “in,” just that they had gotten an interview. I’m not aware of any official acceptances yet.</p>
<p>@smart2010: I have not received an admissions decision so I would not know if I got in or not. I did however call BHP again early this week and they said they are currently sending out letters and that people should start receiving decisions early next week.</p>
<p>Received a full ride scholarship and admittance into the Honors College at LSU today…but nothing from BHP (Better Hurry, People!)</p>
