Any tips for buying a laptop? I’m going to be a business student and I’ve used PC my entire life (not to mention I’ve heard PC has a slight edge on Apple for business students), but I’m really open to any information anyone could share. Right now I’m looking strongly at the HP Spectre or HP Envy. Thanks!
I would definitely stick with a PC. You need a PC to do some assignments for computer classes. Beyond that, it doesn’t really matter as long as you have internet and Microsoft Office (which you can download for free from IU). I got a $500 Acer computer and it gets the job done.
@iubaccounting thanks for the insight! One question I do have is how do you go about downloading Microsoft Office through IU for free before the school year begins? I’m thinking about taking some online courses with the computer over the summer (before I am on campus) and might need Office…
