Business major?

Hi,

I was just curious if anyone had any comments/ideas on the business major at VT. I'm seriously considering the EIT (Entrepreneurial, Innovation & Technology Management) option as I'd like to start my own business one day. BUT, I noticed on Pamplin's site that they seem to require calculus in freshman year (though apparently just business math after that).

I was never very competent at math (english is really my strength), so I was wondering how difficult the program is in that area or if there's a way to get around doing calculus. If you have any other insights on VT academics, life, tips for success, etc., that would be great too.

Thanks! :)

Yea I would like to hear what other people have to say about VA tech. I too am a business major (finance) but also plan to do alot with math so if anyone has any info I would love to hear it.

Also like vt4ever said I would like to hear insights about the school.

Please be critical also, tell me all the things you don't like about va tech, not just what you like.
