Business--- pleasee help :'(

Ok i'm going a little crazy here!!! i swear the deadlines are near and i still haven't decided to what schools i want to apply to!! i'm going to study business management, i've got a 3.9 gpa (unweighted), 1800 on my new sat (1200 on old one) and yeah i know it's not the best score out there, but...., good ecs, great recommendations, BUT NO SAT 2s and i don't think i'll take them. people pleasee help me, i'm about to go crazy. i'm not looking for DREAMY universities... but other good ones like A&M, which isn't the best one out there, but it isn't the worst either. other universities i've been looking at are: Michigan State University, University of Michigan Ann Arbor (i'm not so sure if i want to go to michigan tho), USC, Notre Dame (not sure about Indiana), Penn Sate, Perdue... i dont know.. and some others.. i know that my sat's aren't the best ones around BUTTTT some universities are more lenient with the sat scores of intls (ex Notre Dame came to my school and said a 1100 was a VERY competitive score.. so i was like HMMM GOOD!) please ppl help me out. do any of u know about any other universites?

Indiana is what you are looking for. The Kelley School is a great business school, and while your SATs are a little low, you have a good shot at getting into IU, and then with good college grades, you will get into the Kelley School as a soph, which is what most kids (all but the top applicants) do anyway. IU was ranked "hottest large university" this year, if you care about that kind of thing. The campus is wonderful.

I second Indiana, but be forewarned that it is very difficult to be accepted directly into the Kelley business school as a freshman. Most students are admitted into the university for general studies and then have to apply to Kelley at the end of their sophomore year.

Penn State has an excellent business program with very strong corporate recruiting. The other schools on your list (with the exception of Notre Dame) are realistic matches for you, but you need to get your application in ASAP to U of Michigan to have a shot. Some other business programs that are worth a look: Boston U, Villanova, Bucknell, Trinity University (TX). If you are sure you want business, I'd also recommend taking a look at the "3 B's" - Babson, Bentley and Bryant. With your grades, you'd have a solid shot at all three, which are excellent for business.

thank u so much you guys! i really was beginning to get a little worried about my options! i'll take in consideration all the universities u've mentioned! hahaha and yeah i guess that HOT thing about the university of indiana is a little interesting.

OKOK! i just check IU and i think i'm in love with it! i've been reading about it for hours! i think i will apply there! my only concern is getting accepted to the university, but then not getting into the business school in my second year :S that would really screw me up!

You won't have trouble getting into the business school second year. You just have to get decent grades- not a 4.0 or anything. I am an IU alum, and you will love it. Even the football team is improving- they have a new coach who is really getting the students interested again. Basketball rules, of course (although the coach might need to go).
Another school to look at with an awesome campus and a good business school is Georgia. S is applying to Indiana and Georgia, along with ED at a highly selective school. He found Georgia on his own- it looks good and there is some good merit money and honors program.

Try Northeastern, Great Co-op program

Im not sure if ur looking for instate or what, but im from chicago, and the best business schools that all my freinds are lookin at are University of Illinois-Urbana....really comepetitve, and of course Northweastern here in Chicago (well its a suburb). Good luck.

Does anyone know if Syracuse has a decent Business program?
