Business Presentations?

Is there much difference between Bus-X106 Business Presentations Honors and a section of Bus-X104 for direct admit freshmen? Which class would be better for a direct admit who is also in Hutton?
Thanks!

It depends on the teacher. Brenda Bailey Hughes expects a lot about of her students and holds X106-ers to a higher standard. I took X106 with her and she is not afraid to give out C’s and D’s to honors students. I believe that every X106 class has an actual real-life team presentation, ours was presenting to Cummins Inc. about ways to expand their client base. Other classes did a similar project with Target.
If you take Sue Vargo or one of the other X106 professors, it shouldn’t be too much harder than X104. I know that Vargo is known for being an easier grader than BBH. I think its an easy way to get honors credit and would recommend X106 if you are going for the general honors notation.

Agree that people do avoid Bailey-Hughes for X106, as she grades low for honors classes, so Vargo is much better for X106. Ryan is easiest grader for X104, but hard to get into if you are a freshman.

I was looking at the grade distributions and they seemed somewhat similiar. Does BBH really grade that much more harshly where you should think about not taking the class with her?

Isn’t Craig Byron the easiest grading X-104 Prof? He only teaches DA’s though. He had a section of 22 last spring. 19 of them got A’s or A+'s. 1 got a B. 1 got a C-. 1 got an F. His other sections were similar.

I wonder what that one kid did to get the F…

I was wondering in terms of x-106

She has a lot of reviews for x106 on ratemyprofessor.com
