I'm taking Fygenson right now; its almost the midterm. I'm completely and utterly confused as to what we'll be tested on when half his stuff uses Minitab. Anybody take it? Anybody got any advice?

Also, who's a good BUAD 304 teacher? It seems its always between the same 5 or 6 professors, so has anyone here taken it? Who was it with and what was it like?

I took McCombs for 304 (sp?) - Pretty easy class, just memorize the book & notes - I aced it when I was young and stupid :)

I also aced Fygenson’s class by just going over his book, notes, homework, quizzes, whatever else I had available. The key to his class is study to understand, not to memorize. His exams are designed to test your intuition of the concepts, not memorization skills. As a result, theres really no way to “cram” for his exam. Intuition is something you build over the course of the semester by attending class and taking notes.

Does he still come in to teach without sleeping a wink? I remember he would always come in with 2 cups of tea/coffee because he was up all night analyzing the market for his consulting clients lol
