<p>Hey, I got admitted into the business program on Friday. Just wondering how the business program ranks up among other schools like UT or A&M? I want to go into the MIS program and just wanted to know how it is over there. Is it true that you can't double major here?</p>
<p>UIUC business program is ranked 14th by USNews and MIS 17th. You can double major in another college. It is the opposite that cannot be done: the business college does not accept double majors from the other colleges. Whether as a practicable matter you can do a double major is a different issue because it increases what you need to take by about 30 semester hours which adds about a year to any four program. Moreover. you apply for a double major to begin third year but to do so you must complete, while also completing your business school requirements, the freshman and sophomore year requirements of the other college for the major to which you will apply.</p>
