business?

babson, fordham or bu?

Well, Babson gives you a beautiful campus with lots of trees. It is a very small school, so classes will be small. I think that you will get a lot of individual attention. They offer a lot of hands on creativity within classes. You really cannot walk to much (except Olin, I think). Realistically it will take a car to enjoy Boston.

BU is very much a city school, in Boston. It will be easy to get around. It does not give you the intimate campus you will find at Babson. Picture walking up and down city blocks with a bit of break on Bay State Road, and West Campus (more athletic area). You can easily ride the trolleys/trains to get all over the city. You should be able to meet other students from other schools ie: MIT, Northeastern, and Harvard.

Fordham has 2 campuses. I am not as familiar with it, but I believe the business school is near Lincoln Center. If I am wrong, correct me. I heard this is just a big building, and the Rose Hill is their larger campus. Some people are not comfortable in that neighborhood, but that is an individual decision.

These are all wonderful schools. Fordham is a Catholic U. Babson boasts its entrepreneurship program. All 3 offer very good business programs. Good luck!

The good news and bad news about Babson: lots of rich internationals. My son's impression: engineering school for business, i.e., very intense academically, not as much fun as other places. Not his cup of tea.

Fordham's business school is at Rose Hill which is beautiful by the way. And besides, any reservations people have about going to Bronx for college will be cleared away immidiately once you visit. I'm a senior and I applied early to various schools and got into all of them: Babson, Villanova, Fordham, and NYU. I have chosen Stern at NYU but I did go to each during the admissions process and quite frankly by the time I applied I liked Fordham the most. My advice? Go visit the school. Just go to their website and find admission events they have for admitted students. I'm assuming you were accepted already.

The surrounding areas around Fordham are real crap, but the campus is very, very nice.

i would highly recommend visiting all the campuses

I would say either Babson or Fordham. I don't think that BU's program is as good as either one of these others.
