Why does Wellesley send me emails? I clearly indicated "male" on my PSATs, etc.

BTW, what WOULD happen if I applied (by pretending I was a girl) and got in?

You might want to tell them that their records are incorrect :) Have you heard from any other women's colleges? (i.e., is it a problem with Wellesley's records or with the PSAT's report?)

As for applying ... you wouldn't get very far. A doctor has to sign off on your femality, and I think the Board of Admissions usually catches the men early on the in the process. Even if you got past that, the school requires a physical, and the doctor isn't likely to risk negative consequences by lying about your sex. I'm sure plenty of men have tried their hand at the admissions process :)

a;kldfjds GO FOR IT. PLEASE.

Do you have a girl's name-- i.e., Shannon, Marion, Vivian, Leslie, Jean-Marie, etc.?

That might explain it!

Do doctors really have to sign off your femality at Wellesley once you have martriculated?

But hahahhaha that is really funny that Wellesley sends you stuff even though you are a guy. I clearly got a 2 on AP Calc and Illinois Inst. of Tech sent me emails how they were impressed with my good AP math scores...haha

If you end up going to Olin, Brandeis, Babson or MIT, you can always cross register. :-)

i got a thick package in my mail a few days ago. they wanted me to appreciate their ability to mold a successful woman

are there male faculty at wellesley? if so, are they all like 60 or something?

What right do they have to tell you that you are NOT a woman? I say go for it, and get the ACLU to help you in your suit if they deny admission on the grounds that you aren't female.

=] You could be make a movie called "He's the woman!" :D I believe there are male faculty at Wellesley. Definately not 60.
