Now that the end of the semester is approaching for my freshman daughter wondering if it’s best for her to try and sell back her text books to her college’s bookstore or are there other sites that give better prices? Is it worth our while to bother with other sites? Some of her books are novels not so much text books. Thanks for any tips!
If she knows people taking courses next semester using the same books, then she can sell the books to them, so she can sell for more while the buyer pays less.
Unfortunately, no. The classes that have the most books are a freshman seminar class and a freshman writing course that most took in the first semester and every prof has different books. But thanks for your suggestion!
If one of her friends will be assisting with freshman orientation, she might be able to offer the books to other freshman next fall.
Maybe there’ll be an accepted students Facebook group…
My kid had a running buy and sell account with Amazon. She bought and sold all the time. Wondering if they will buy these books from your kid?
I’ll check that, thanks!
